Dorian Cohen (b. 1987) is a French painter based in Paris. Self-taught, he developed his practice through an intuitive and deeply personal approach to painting. His works explore the relationship between landscape, memory and perception, creating ambiguous spaces that seem both familiar and strangely suspended.

Working primarily from observation and recollection, Cohen transforms everyday scenes into poetic and introspective compositions. His paintings are characterised by a subtle tension between realism and abstraction, where light, colour and perspective contribute to an atmosphere of quiet uncertainty.

Through his distinctive visual language, Dorian Cohen invites the viewer to look beyond the apparent simplicity of his subjects and enter landscapes shaped as much by memory as by reality
